Our affiliate, Art-Pak Oy, specialises in plastic packaging and protection for bulky goods and is a leading manufacturer of form-welded hoods commonly used in the sawmill and shipping industries.
The fully recyclable films and hoods are manufactured from UV-protected, clear, black & white or coloured polyethylene. To reduce slipperiness and make the working site safer, a friction surface can be welded on the films or hoods. Due to the reinforced edge, the fastening of the hoods with staples and straps can endure a very high degree of stress.
The most common hazard when working in the tight spaces between and on timber piles is the slippery conditions caused by snow, ice and water. We have developed a friction surface for our timber packages that has proven to be the most robust in tests performed by the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health.
